Admission Procedure

For our valued parents, we have streamlined the entire process of admission. Visit us and become a member of the AMBASSADOR NURSERY & KINDERGARTEN family by enrolling your child. Steps in the admission process:

Step 1: Completing the Online Application Form Please complete the Online Admission Application form, ensuring that all the fields are completed accurately.

Step 2: Interaction Session of Applicant In consultation with the Admissions Department, an interaction session will be scheduled on a specified date and time with a Teacher at Ambassador Nursery/Kindergarten. The teacher will ensure that your ward enjoys the interaction which takes place through playful activities and also meets the baseline expectations as per age appropriate Year groups. At this session, the teacher will assess your ward’s readiness for nursery/kindergarten.

Step 3: Admissions Counseling and Enrollment Following a successful interaction session, the Admissions Department will contact you with an offer of admission for your child. On receipt of this offer letter, you are requested to secure your ward’s seat of admission at Ambassador Nursery/Kindergarten with submission of all the necessary documents mentioned and complete the payment of relevant School fees within 10 working days – as per KHDA guidelines. Parents are requested to carry valid Original Emirates ID cards for them (one parent EID) and the applicant EID on the date of admission confirmation. The admission offer, if not accepted and seat not taken for the applicant within 10 days, is considered to have lapsed the period of validity. Hence, the School reserves the right to offer this seat of admission to the next deserving applicant. As you join us, the parent’s login credentials are created in various School-Parent communication platforms. Following the above, you will receive updates from the school. You will also be invited at the Orientation Program, which we understand is mandate to attend for all new families along with the new students.

Age Guidelines for Admissions :

Pre-KG:   3 Years as on 31st March of the year of admission.

KG1:        4 Years as on 31st March of the year of admission.

KG2:        5 Years as on 31st March of the year of admission.

Grade 1:   6 Years as on 31st March of the year of admission.

ADMISSION DOCUMENTATION
Parents are requested to submit a copy of following documents at Admissions Department prior to fee payment to secure a seat of confirmation for their child(ren):
- Passport inside pages of applicant and either parent
- Valid UAE Residency visa page (stamped on passport)
- Valid Emirates ID card (both sides) of applicant and either parent
- Birth Certificate (attested)
- Immunization or Vaccination schedule
- Five passport size photograph of the applicant
- One passport size photograph for both parents
*Please carry both Emirates ID card in original – one for the applicant and either Parent Emirates ID card (Mother / Father)

Waiting lists
Due to overwhelming response and oversubscribed application, we are sorry to see applicant names in waiting list in previous Academic Session. Waiting lists at Ambassador Nursery/Kindergarten can be extensive, hence parents are requested to reserve their ward’s seat at the earliest possible to avoid disappointments at later stages. The School may decide to close applications at any given time, prior to commencement of Academic Session from April. Please note movement through the waiting lists can be a slow process. However, as soon as a seat becomes available, the admissions team will contact you immediately.

Admission Cancellation
In the rare case that you may wish to withdraw your child’s admission from Ambassador Kindergarten, we shall endeavor to follow all the KHDA guidelines and make the process as smooth as possible. Further information will be available on request.
