PARENTS’ ASSOCIATION

An effective partnership between home and school is very important to ensure a healthy, safe and positive learning environment for children. It helps in ensuring a consistent approach to support positive development beyond the boundaries of the classroom environment. It promotes a secure feeling through trust and positive involvement of parents and school together as a team in the progress of children. Clear communication is very essential for optimal effect of partnership.

Partnership working is a shared responsibility and accountability between all involved, so all of us need to think about means to initiate working together and maintain a positive relationship among all to bring about specific outcomes in children and the setting. When school and home share a common vision and understand each other’s roles and responsibilities in order to support positive learning, children are the main benefactors. It adds to their academic as well as holistic success through their growing years. Ambassador Nursery & Kindergarten actively promotes all means of effective co-operation between school and parents. In keeping with the principles of partnership in education a strong Parent Support Group comprising of parents from different walks of life, but with a unified progressive vision to enrich the learning process for children and for the betterment of the school has been formed. It consists of one representative from each class in addition to a parent Governor for each grade. The parent representatives and the school management meet on a bi-monthly basis to put forth their views on the ongoing programmes and share their expertise and strategies to counter challenges if any. Through our Parent Support Group, Ambassador Nursery & Kindergarten aims to bridge the understanding between the school and parent community; ensure positive sharing of relevant information with other parents; active participation of parents in consultations for new initiatives and to develop effective partnership between school and home to ensure and encourage parents to become actively involved in the education of their children, thereby contributing to quality improvement in the setting. In addition to our Parent Support Group, all parents are encouraged to participate in academic and co-curricular activities on a regular basis throughout the year.
