From the Principal's Desk

Dear Parents,

I am truly fortunate to have this opportunity to work with you and your child at Ambassador Kindergarten.  It is indeed our honor that you have decided to share your child’s precious learning years with us. Welcome to the Ambassador family.

I would like to share a story with you all, which has left a mark on my mind ever since I read it 12 years ago. Here it goes:

On a tree, in a farm, was a hawk’s nest. One of its eggs rolled down the nest and got mixed with the eggs laid by a hen. The egg hatched and the hawk grew up with the other chickens. Every day when they were pecking about on the farm, this little chicken hawk would look up at the soaring hawks in the bright blue sky and always think, “How I wish I could fly!!!” Unaware of its own potential, the hawk believed that it was a chicken and grew up as one. If and only if the chicken hawk had been in the right environment or had someone to help him realize himself, he would be up there in the sky and not pottering about on the ground…..

Quoting Maria Montessori’s words, ‘It is true that we cannot make a genius. We can only give the child the chance to fulfil his potential possibilities.’ At Ambassador Kindergarten, we recognize and respect each and every child’s gifts and challenges and try our best to cater to their individual needs. Her/ His achievements are celebrated and challenges are viewed as opportunities. We make a sincere attempt to create a positive environment where learning comes from experiences, creativity is embedded in their routine, vocabulary enrichment and real life application is a regular feature. Our little learners are given ample opportunities to think, explore, experiment, investigate and most important to question. All these will eventually lead to a holistic development in a child.

We hope that each child that passes through Ambassador Kindergarten will find his learning experience fruitful and enriching. It is my belief that a child’s achievement is based on a cooperative home-school relationship.

The management and staff of Ambassador Kindergarten look forward to working with you throughout the year and making this learning experience a happy and successful one.
Wish you all the very best for the coming year ahead.

The journey begins……………………
